Infant Toddler AT Services (Birth to Three Years)

MISSION: To help families and local service providers identify developmentally appropriate AT needed by children with disabilities.

Activities

• Regional workshops on AT topics related to the needs of infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families
• Provide short-term loan of a range of AT devices to families and local service providers
• Assist family members and local providers in determining if an AT device meets the developmental needs of an infant or toddler through demonstrations and assistance with assessments

AT & The Needs Of Young Children - Online Information:

An Inventory of devices listed below is available to loan. Families with infants, toddlers, and young children and local service providers may borrow items for a short-term loan. Other items may be available. Please get in touch with your regional AT Access Site at 800-526-3648. A completed ATK Device Loan Application is required to borrow devices.

ATK-KEE Reuse

The ATK-KEE Reuse program accepts donated durable medical equipment. Equipment is sanitized, refurbished, and given to Kansans, including children 0-10 years old, who need it. Equipment donations are also accepted.

Donation Wish List: High quality, lightly used devices are needed for Kansas children, such as:

  • Gait trainers
  • Adapted strollers
  • Feeder seats
  • Adapted car seats
  • Toddler chairs, wedges, and positioning devices
  • Prone and supine standers

Regional AT Access Sites are located in Oakley, Salina, Wichita, Topeka, and Parsons. An affiliate Reuse office is located in Garden City.
