More than 1,000 people attended the 2013 AT Expo at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka sponsored by Assistive Technology for Kansans, the statewide AT program serving Kansans in all 105 counties.

"Sold!" said the self-taught knitting entrepreneur, presenter and owner of JBaby's Pretties. The young woman with the quick wit is a skilled AT user who shared her business expertise in a conference session "Employment – You need a plan."

"Make mine red!"

said the man on the right following Brian Green's presentation at the 2013 AT Expo. Green, the co-owner of Global Extreme Mobility, traveled from Alabama to bring his magnificent mobility machines to Kansas. His determination to create a machine to meet an individual's personalized needs and wants quickly won the crowd's approval and attention. We'll be seeing some of these all terrain power wheelchairs in Kansas!
